 PAKKRET Travel Guide Wat Klang Kret is an ancient temple built during the middle Ayutthaya period, long before the Khlong Lat Kret canal was dug in 1767. After King Taksin the Great permitted Mon immigrants to settle in Ban Pakkret, the temple became a spiritual center for the community.
