 PAKKRET Travel Guide Also known as Wat Luang Pho Panya, this revered temple was established in 1959 by M.L. Chuchart Kamphu, then Director-General of the Royal Irrigation Department. He invited Phra Phanyanandabhikkhu, a highly respected monk renowned for his clear and modern approach to Buddhist teaching, to serve as the abbot. Luang Pho Panya was deeply admired for making Dhamma accessible to all through his innovative style of preaching.In 2012, His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej the Great graciously elevated the temple to the status of a third-class royal monastery. Today, the temple continues to serve as a vital center for spreading Buddhist teachings, with a strong emphasis on the core principles taught by the Buddha. 又称“龙波班雅寺”（Wat Luang Pho Panya），建于1959年，由泰国皇家灌溉局局长朱查· 甘布殿下（M.L.
