5 สิ่งดีดีในเทศบาลนครปากเกร็ด ค นไทยเราผูกพันและมีวิถีชีวิตที่เกี่ยวข้องกับวัด มาตั้งแต่ สมัยโบราณกาล จึงปฏิเสธไม่ได้เลยว่าวัดมีความส�ำคัญ กับคนไทยมานานแสนนาน วัดมีบทบาทที่ส�ำคัญในการมี ส่วนช่วยสร้างสรรค์สังคมไทยให้เจริญงอกงามและมีความผาสุก ตลอด ถึงการเป็นศูนย์กลางของวัฒนธรรมของชุมชน แต่ในปัจจุบันบทบาทหนึ่ง ที่เพิ่มขึ้นมาคือเป็นแหล่งท่องเที่ยวทางศาสนาและวัฒนธรรม การท่องเที่ยวจึงมีบทบาทส�ำคัญเพิ่มขึ้น จึงเป็นกลยุทธ์ที่ส�ำคัญ อย่างหนึ่งในการพัฒนาเศรษฐกิจของเทศบาลนครปากเกร็ด จะเห็นได้ ว่าปัจจุบันนักท่องเที่ยว ได้เพิ่มขึ้นมากจากวิถีชีวิตของพุทธศาสนิกชน และความส�ำคัญของศิลปวัฒนธรรม เช่น บางวัดเป็นแหล่งความรู้ความ ศรัทธาทางพุทธศาสนา บางวัดมีพุทธศิลป์เป็นเลิศทางศิลปะ บางวัดเป็น แหล่งอ�ำนวยประโยชน์แก่การประกอบพิธีกรรม ท�ำให้สามารถดึงดูด นักท่องเที่ยวทั้งชาวไทยและต่างประเทศให้เข้ามาเยือน การท่องเที่ยวทางพระพุทธศาสนาได้ช่วยส่งเสริมโอกาสและขีดความ สามารถของชุมชน การพัฒนาสิ่งแวดล้อมและการท�ำนุบ�ำรุงพุทธศิลป์ภายใน วัด รวมทั้งมีส่วนต่อการสนับสนุนให้เกิดรายได้กับวัด ชุมชน และผู้ประกอบ การต่างๆ ด้านการท่องเที่ยวจึงเป็นมิติใหม่ของชาวนครปากเกร็ด ที่ สามารถดึงจุดเด่นด้านพุทธศาสนา ประวัติศาสตร์ และโบราณคดี ซึ่ง เป็นต้นทุนสังคมที่มีอยู่น�ำมาใช้ประโยชน์ได้อย่างเต็มที่ โดยเฉพาะอย่างยิ่ง สวนสมเด็จพระศรีนครินทร์ นนทบุรี สถานที่ท่องเที่ยวส�ำคัญ และการ เป็นพื้นที่เชื่อมผ่านไปยังเกาะเกร็ด สถานที่ท่องเที่ยวส�ำคัญของจังหวัด นนทบุรี นับเป็นการเชื่อมโยงการท่องเที่ยวกับพุทธศาสนาได้อย่าง กลมกลืน ที่ส่งผลส�ำคัญอันเหนียวแน่นของวัฒนธรรมไทยมอญของ นครปากเกร็ด สัมผัสเสน่ห์มนต์รามัญ T hai people have always associated with Buddhism and temples for a long time. It is undeniable that temples play an important role in Thai culture. They have always been community centers where people can learn about good things and good deeds as well as the community’s culture. Nowadays, they are the places where tourists come to relax and gain a deep insight about the religion and culture. Tourism creates significant value for the community. Therefore, it is one of the tools that PakKret municipality uses to improve the economy of the community. We can see that the number of tourists has been increasing since people pay more attention to the Buddhists’ way of life and the importance of local arts. To illustrate this, some temples are profound Buddhist knowledge centers, some have very dedicated Buddhist arts and sculptures, and some are the places where people come to participate in Buddhist rituals. Thus, more and more Thai and foreign tourists come to visit the community. Buddhist tourism has helped create more opportunities and skillsets for the locals. It helps improve the environment and encourage local arts protection. Moreover, it creates more jobs and brings revenue to the community. Tourism is so crucial to Pakkret community that it brings a new dimension of creativity to support Buddhism, local history, and archaeology, which are the existing community value, to its full capacity. Pakkret community is very proud of many of its attractions, especially, Somdet Phra Srinakarindra Park Nonthaburi is an important tourist spot and is also a gateway to Korkret, a famous tourist attraction in Nonthaburi. More importantly, it has wonderfully connected Buddhism with tourism which results in the combination of Thai-Mon culture that welcomes all visitors to experience its beauty.
