93 Wat Porramaiyikkawas is a second class royal temple. It was formerly named Wat Pak Ao. Mon people call it Piamukiateng. The temple was built in Ayutthaya Period and was abandoned since the second fall of Ayutthaya. Until 2417 BE, during his excursion, King Rama V saw that the temple was so damaged. Thus, he ordered the renovation of the temple and named it Porramaiyikkawas which means the grandmother’s temple. In the temple’s area, there is Korkret signature which is a tilted pagoda called Mutao pagoda. It is a 3- meter-tall white pagoda located at the Cape of Korkret Island. Many tourists come to visit it as it is a Nonthaburi province and Pakkret’s signature. It was built under Mon influence and is a replica of Hongsawadee’s pagoda of the same name. It was built on the river bank. So, the tide has eroded the ground beneath the pagoda, making it tilted. It is assumed to be established by Mon people in the early Thonburi period.
