85 The temple is located in Wat Salak Nua Village, Ban Mai subdistrict, Pakkret municipality. It was built in Rattanakosin era. The name of the temple is presented in the list of temples of the Ministry of Education as “Wat Salak Nua, Ban Mai subdistrict with Pra Saeng as an abbot in Mahanikai school of Buddhism”. Inside the temple, there is a main hall that was built in Rattanakosin era in 2475 BE. The main hall has five rooms with beautiful slope roof architecture and decorations. Inside the main hall encloses a gold-leaf Buddha with Thai-styled decorations. The chanting hall was built in 2496 BE as a composite building. Another important building is the study hall which was build in 2523 BE as a reinforced concrete building.
