79 ห ากเรามีโอกาสมาท่องเที่ยวปากเกร็ด อย่าพลาดที่จะมาเยี่ยม วัดสนามเหนือที่มีประวัติศาสตร์ สถาปัตยกรรมทางศาสนา พุทธที่งดงามและมีเอกลักษณ์ที่แสดงถึง วิถีชีวิตความเป็น อยู่ของท้องถิ่นอย่างดี วัดสนามเหนือ ตั้งอยู่ริมแม่น�้ำลัดเกร็ด ต.ปากเกร็ด ภายในวัดมี อุโบสถที่ได้บูรณะใหม่ที่สร้างขึ้นแทนที่อุโบสถหลังเดิมที่ช�ำรุดเสียหาย มี พระประธานปางมารวิชัย โดยศาลาการเปรียญ มีขนาดสูงใหญ่มาก หน้า บันเป็นรูปหงส์คันทวยปั้นเป็นตัวหงส์ทั้งหมด ปัจจุบันชั้นบนใช้เป็นสถานที่ ใช้ศึกษาพระอภิธรรมส�ำหรับประชาชนทั่วไปและมีพระไตรปิฎก พ.ศ. ๒๔๓๑ เป็นพระไตรปิฎกพิมพ์ฉบับตัวอักษรไทยจ�ำนวน ๓๘ เล่ม ที่พระบาทสมเด็จ พระจุลจอมเกล้าเจ้าอยู่หัวพระราชทานให้แก่วัดสนามเหนือและ พระเจดีย์ ศรีจุฬามณีเจดีย์ เป็นเจดีย์เหลี่ยมย่อมุมไม้สิบสองอยู่กลางสระน�้ำ สูง ๑๖ เมตร และหอไตรกลางน�้ำ ตั้งอยู่ในสระน�้ำใกล้พระเจดีย์ศรีจุฬามณีเจดีย์ เป็น หอไตรขนาดเล็ก I f you have a chance to go to Pakkret, do not miss Wat Sanarm Nuae which represents the long history of Buddhist architecture and the locals’ way of living. Wat Sanarm Nua is located near Lad Kret River, in Lad Kret subdistrict. Inside the temple contains the new main hall that was recently renovated. The main hall encloses a demon-defeating Buddha. The study hall is not very tall. It is decorated with an image of a full-body swan. The upper floor of the study is for people to study teachings of the Buddha. The study hall displays 38 copies of Thai language 2431 BE edition Dhamma books which were given by King Rama V. There are also other buildings, including “Sri Chulamanee Pagoda” which is a 16-meter-tall Thai-styled pagoda on the riverside and the a small study hall built on the water.
