Wat Ruengvej Mongkol is located in Mitr Pracha Villege, Ban Mai subdistrict. It was built on 21st April BE 2500 as Mr. Sanun Ruengvej Timruengvej donated the land and led the consruction. The part of the temple’s name has Ruengvej, which is the family name of the owner, and the word “Mongkol” which means blessing. Therefore, the temple was built to commemorate the Ruengvej family. Inside the temple, there are monk buildings, including a main hall which is a Thai-styled 4-roomed building. It was built in BE 2526. There are also a study hall which was constructed in BE2520 and a Thai-styled Monk house. The area of the temple is very peaceful with many trees and is suitable for meditation. It is designed as a destination for tourists who are interested in Buddhism and people who want to make merit. 73
