The development of the public service system towards greater efficiency and modernity is one strategy to expand the services for the benefit of the people and for thedisseminationof quality information through new information technology. Pakkret Municipality has set up five Knowledge Learning Centers, namely, at Wat Bor School, Wat Koo School, Phasuk Maneechak Mitrapap 116 School, Sri Nagarindra Park Nonthaburi, and Pakkret Pier as a service and learning center for the children, youth and general public toconduct self research (using LAN wireless internet). The tools available elevate the quality of services from the municipality to the community, be it in information and IT capabilities, and promote the expansion of knowledge on IT, local wisdom, preservation of culture and traditions, including through the use of E-books in database development. เทศบาลนครปากเกร็ด รายงานประจ�ำปี 2556 101
