งานสภาเทศบาล เป็นงานตรวจสอบการท�ำงานของ ผู้บริหาร ทุกปีที่ผ่านมา เราจะท�ำหน้าที่ตรวจสอบโครงการร่วมกับ เทศบาลอย่างต่อเนื่องทั้งด้านโครงสร้างพื้นฐาน สิ่งแวดล้อม และการพัฒนาคุณภาพชีวิต เนื่องจากสมาชิกสภาเทศบาลเป็น ตัวแทนจากชุมชน ท�ำให้เรารู้เราเข้าใจในบริบทของปากเกร็ด เป็นอย่างดี ผลงานเทศบาลในแต่ละปีที่ผ่านมา จึงผ่านการตรวจ ติดตามในขั้นตอนต่ าง ๆ เพื่อตอบโจทย์ที่ได้ด�ำเนินการ ให้เป็นไปตามนโยบายที่ผู้บริหารเทศบาลได้แถลงต่อเทศบาล ไว้หรือไม่ ในปี 2556 ต่อมาจนถึงปี 2557 นครปากเกร็ดมีโครงการ พัฒนาจ�ำนวนมาก โดยเฉพาะโครงการในเรื่องสาธารณูปโภค สาธารณูปการต่าง ๆ ที่ต้องจัดท�ำให้พร้อมรับกับชุมชนที่ จะขยายตัวขึ้น การพัฒนาคุณภาพชีวิตที่ต้องมุ่งในกลุ่มสังคม ผู้สูงอายุมากขึ้น ซึ่งสิ่งเหล่านี้สภาเทศบาลนครปากเกร็ดจะได้ท�ำ หน้าที่เร่งรัด ตรวจสอบให้โครงการต่าง ๆ สัมฤทธิ์ผลในการ แก้ปัญหาในชุมชนให้มากที่สุดต่อไป นายนิพนธ์ หวังพราย ประธานสภาเทศบาลนครปากเกร็ด The work of the Municipal Council involves monitoring the work of administrators on an annual basis. It involves the scrutiny of the projects with the Municipality on a continual basis, including basic infrastructure, environment, and quality of life. The members of the Municipal Council are representatives of the community which makes us understand the unique context of Pakkret very well. The outcome of the work of the Municipality in the past years had therefore gone through many stages of follow-up, in order to implement the policies set forth by the Municipality executives, as announced. In 2013 until 2014, Pakkret Municipality had carried out many development projects, particularly utilities which have to be expanded with the increasing number of people in the Municipality. The development of quality of life is geared at a society which is increasingly aging. Pakkret Municipality Council will expedite and monitor each project with the aim of achieving success and efficiently solving the problems faced by the community.
