ปัจจุบันทุเรียนนนท์หาทานได้ยากยิ่ง เนื่องจากความ เจริญเติบโตของเมือง และการเกิดหมู่บ้านจัดสรรจ�ำนวนมาก ท�ำให้พื้นที่เพาะปลูกลดน้อยลงไป ประกอบกับสถานการณ์น�้ำท่วม ในปี พ.ศ. 2554 จึงท�ำให้พื้นที่สวนทุเรียนที่เหลือน้อยอยู่แล้ว ลดจ�ำนวนลงไปอีก ทางเทศบาลนครปากเกร็ดได้เล็งเห็นความส�ำคัญดังกล่าว จึงได้น้อมน�ำแนวพระราชด�ำริของสมเด็จพระเทพรัตนราชสุดาฯ สยามบรมราชกุมารี ที่ทรงห่วงใยในสถานการณ์ทุเรียนนนท์ และ ทรงด�ำริให้สวนสมเด็จพระศรีนครินทร์ควรปลูกทุเรียนนนท์ด้วย เพื่อน้อมน�ำแนวพระราชด�ำริลงในพื้นที่ เทศบาล นครปากเกร็ดได้ด�ำเนินการปรับสภาพพื้นที่ 7 ไร่ ในสวนสมเด็จ พระศรีนครินทร์ นนทบุรี พร้อมจัดประชุมร่วมกับปราชญ์ทุเรียน เกษตรกร และภาคส่วนต่าง ๆ ในจังหวัดนนทบุรี เพื่อด�ำเนิน การปรับสภาพดิน ก�ำหนดพื้นที่สวนทุเรียนนนท์ พิพิธภัณฑ์ พื้นบ้าน วิถีและภูมิปัญญาชาวสวนนนท์และศูนย์เรียนรู้ภายในสวน โดยการแบ่งพื้นที่ในสวนสมเด็จฯ ส่วนที่จะด�ำเนินการออกเป็น 3 ส่วน ดังนี้ ส่วนที่ 1 ส่วนลานทรงปลูก ก�ำหนดให้พื้นที่ทรงปลูก ทุเรียนพันธุ์พื้นเมืองนนท์ที่สมเด็จพระเทพฯ ทรงปลูก จ�ำนวน 3 ต้น บริเวณด้านหน้าโครงการ เพื่อส่งเสริมให้ประชาชนเห็นถึง ความส�ำคัญในการอนุรักษ์สวนทุเรียนนนท์ และร่วมโครงการ ในการสร้ างศูนย์ เรียนรู้ วิถี และภูมิปัญญาชาวสวนนนท์ ที่จะจัดท�ำขึ้นในพื้นที่สวนสมเด็จพระศรีนครินทร์ นนทบุรี At present, the durian of Nonthaburi are hard to find because of the growth of the city and the building of residential estates, decreasing thearea for growingdurian. Moreover the floods of B.E.2554 further decreased the area for growing durian. Pakkret Municipality has foreseen such importance, so it humbly received the guidance of Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn who cares about the situation of durian planting. TheMunicipality has therefore planted durians in Sri Nagarindra Park Nonthaburi as per Her Royal Highness’ guidance. On the ground, Pakkret Municipality has used such guidance by improving 7 rais in the land area of Sri Nagarindra Park Nonthaburi, as well as held meeting with durian experts, farmers and other sectors in Nonthaburi to improve the land surface and select areas to plant durians and create a local culture museum and learning center of local wisdom from orchard planters. Within Sri Nagarindra Park Nonthaburi, it was divided into 3 areas, namely Area 1 is the Royal Planting area that Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn planted 3 durian trees near the project entrance to highlight to the people the importance of preserving durian orchards and to invite people to visit the Learning Center on Local Wisdom and Techniques with the park. เทศบาลนครปากเกร็ด รายงานประจ�ำปี 2556 135
